I don't understand why...

Why is it that listening to a certain song and or artist can bring you back to a certain time and or a particular feeling. It's weird how that works, like if I break out the wonder years, I always get put in a good mood, even though I've been on a classical/musical/choral binge for the past 2 months. Listening to particular music just takes me back to a mood that I haven't felt in a long time.

P.s. I',m going to spain in like 2 weeks, should be awesome.
